Puzzles can target ages 5 to 7, 8 to 10, 11 to 13, 14+, and Adults. The AI adapts vocabulary complexity, sentence structure, and clue style automatically based on the selected audience.

How does the credit system work?

Every page you generate uses credits. Simple word puzzles use a few credits each. AI-generated content (trivia, brain teasers, image-based puzzles) uses more because of the underlying AI cost. The exact credit cost is shown on the Generate button before you click, so you always see what an action will cost. Your balance is visible in the dashboard header at all times.

Your balance has three buckets: subscription credits (refill on each billing cycle), rollover credits (unused subscription credits that carry forward up to a cap), and purchased credits (token packs you buy directly). Purchased credits remain available as long as you have an active subscription. When you generate, credits come out in this order: subscription first, then rollover, then purchased.

Can I cancel? Can I get a refund?

Yes, you can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access through the end of your current billing period.

Purchased credits expire at the end of your subscribed term if you cancel. They are not refundable.

AI use is at your own risk. AI can and does make mistakes. Over-complicated puzzle generation requests can fail. There are no refunds for credits used or lost while attempting a credit-based action. Credits are non-refundable. No exceptions are offered.

What happens to my books when my subscription ends?

Your projects stay in your account permanently. Nothing is deleted when you cancel. You can still log in, view your books, and re-export any PDF you have already generated. What you lose access to are the gated features: AI content generation, Pro and Studio-only puzzle types, and ongoing credit refills. Purchased credits (from token packs) expire at the end of your current billing period, as noted in the cancellation section above.

Uploaded custom-page images are retained for 30 days after cancellation, then cleaned up automatically. Re-subscribe within that window and they are still there. Re-subscribe later and your projects pick up exactly where you left off.

How is my data stored, and how do I delete my account?

Your projects, generated content, and uploaded images are stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). Only you can read your own data. other users on the platform cannot see your books, even via direct queries. Backups are managed by Supabase's standard service.

To delete your account, email support. we'll remove your projects, pages, and uploaded images. We retain anonymized usage records (no identifying information) for accounting. If you need a full GDPR/CCPA data export before deleting, ask in the same email and we'll send you a JSON dump of everything tied to your account.

Why does PDF export sometimes take a while?

Most exports finish in under 10 seconds. Larger books (200 or more pages, or books with many AI-image puzzles) can take 30 to 60 seconds because we render every page at print fidelity, then compile them into a single PDF with bookmarks. Digital and interactive exports take a bit longer than print because of the extra bookmark and link structure.

Do NOT refresh the page while an export is running. AI credits are spent the moment you click Generate or Export, and refreshing during an export will not refund the credits used. Be patient. No export should take more than 3 minutes without showing a warning. If an export hangs past that point with no progress message, contact support so we can identify the page that is breaking compilation. In the meantime you can mark that page Locked and re-export; the rest of the book will finish around it.
