Double Proof is our quality check, exclusive to Puzzle Book Smith. After a page is generated, a second and independent set of checks reviews it before it can be exported. Logic puzzles are confirmed to have exactly one answer. Word lists, counts and labels printed on the page are verified. The whole book is kept free of repeats, including individual words in your word searches. Word puzzles use family safe word lists by default. It runs automatically on every page, on every plan. There is nothing to switch on.

No. Pick a book type, choose its settings and click Generate. You control the content and layout. Review, edit and tweak each page before you export.

Choose a theme, such as "Ocean Animals," an age range and a puzzle type. The AI suggests words and clues for you to review and edit. The builder uses algorithms to arrange the words into a puzzle. You can also type or paste your own word list. You choose the words, edit the clues, set the layout and review each page before you approve it.

Our word lists are sorted ahead of time. Common Words, Family Safe Wide, Family Safe Full and the children's lists are family safe. AI themed words and your own words are not checked for family safety; we only remove words on our never list.

You, the author, use Puzzle Book Smith to create your book. You control the settings, edit the content, organize the pages and approve every page before export. The builders use algorithms (formulas and math) to construct puzzle grids and logic puzzles.

On Standard and Premium, AI can help gather and draft source material, such as words, clues, trivia, riddles and prompts. Some tools also generate images. You choose what to use in your pages. You can enter your own content in builders that support it.

The PDF includes a custom cover page, an optional table of contents, every puzzle page laid out and typeset, and a full answer key. Files are sized for standard KDP paperback formats.

Yes. The Layout Editor lets you set paper size, font, heading and body text size, margins, borders, header and footer text, and columns. Every change shows up right away in the live preview.

Standard and Premium have no application page-count or file-quantity limit, and generated PDFs have no per-file size cap. Your publishing platform may have its own print specifications, and larger books can take longer to generate or export.

Your tier sets the total allowance for saved images, fonts and other uploads. Check My library for your current storage usage and allowance. User uploads can be up to 100 MB per file. Reusing the same library file across books counts it once. There is no separate file-quantity allowance or generated-PDF size cap.

A successfully exported PDF is kept for 7 days as a courtesy to make repeat downloads convenient. These copies do not use your tier storage allowance. The dashboard and Exports show the expiration date. Your saved book and export history remain after the download copy expires, and you can regenerate the PDF from the saved book.

Click the eye icon to see your whole book rendered page by page, at print quality. It uses the same fonts, grids, and layout as the final PDF.

Yes. Drag any page tile in the Pages panel to a new spot in the book.

Yes. Use Re-Generate where the builder offers it to make a new version from your settings. Review the new words, clues and layout, then edit the page to suit your book.

Yes. The PDF export includes an answer key at the back of the book. You can set its density, badge style, position, and look to match your book.

Puzzles can target ages 5 to 7, 8 to 10, 11 to 13, 14+, and Adults. The AI suggests words and clues to suit the age range you pick. You check that they suit your readers, edit them as needed and approve the page.

Actions that use credits show their quote before you confirm. Check your account for its current credit allowance, balance and transaction history. The cost depends on the selected feature and operation.

Credits are used oldest first: rollover credits, then your current monthly credits, then purchased credits. Purchased credits never expire, but you need an active monthly subscription to use them. They are not refundable. Your monthly credits refill on your own renewal date while your subscription stays active. Unused monthly credits carry over for one month, then expire. Review the displayed quote before requesting a fresh generation. Use a saved operation recovery option after an interruption rather than starting the same work again.

Yes, you can cancel any time. Canceling stops your next renewal, and you keep access through the end of your current billing period.

If you cancel, your monthly and rollover credits expire at the end of your billing period. Purchased credits never expire, but you need an active monthly subscription to use them. They are not refundable.

AI use is at your own risk. AI can make mistakes, and a puzzle request that is too complex can fail. Credits used or lost on any credit-based action are not refundable, with no exceptions.

Your books are not removed the day a subscription ends. If you do not use your account for 100 days after your plan ends, we remove your saved books and files. We email you after 30, 60 and 90 days first, and each email gives the removal date. Subscribe again before that date and we keep everything. Your account itself stays open either way.

Access to new generation, gated features, uploads and credit refills follows your current account eligibility. Check your account and the service terms for the applicable subscription and credit status.

A Courtesy PDF Save is a separate seven-day download copy. Its expiration does not delete your saved book or export history; the PDF can be regenerated from the saved book using the available export controls.

Your projects, generated content, and uploaded images are stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). Only you can read your own data. Other users on the platform cannot see your books, even through direct queries. Backups are handled by Supabase's standard service.

To delete your account, email support and we'll remove your projects, pages, and uploaded images. Our support team handles each request and tells you what was removed and what we must keep. Removing your books and files does not remove your account record, and we keep anonymized usage and billing records for accounting. If you need a full GDPR or CCPA data export before deleting, ask in the same email and we'll send you a JSON file of everything tied to your account.

Books with many pages, images or complex layouts can take longer to render. Keep the export status open and follow any progress or recovery message. After an interruption, check Exports for a completed Courtesy PDF Save before starting another request.

If an export fails with a page-layout error, correct that page and preview it again. Contact support with the project ID and operation details if the problem continues.
